Commitment
We want ITSNOBODY.NET to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors using assistive technology, keyboard-only navigation, zoom, or reduced-motion settings.
Conformance standard
We aim to make this website conform to the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 2013. The informational pages of the site are substantially conformant; some limitations are noted below.
What is in place
- Semantic HTML structure and visible focus states.
- Keyboard-accessible controls and skip links on informational pages.
- Responsive layouts that support mobile, tablet, desktop, and browser zoom.
- Reduced-motion support for heavy visual effects where applicable.
- Text contrast that meets WCAG AA on informational content.
- Accessible labels and consent text on the early-access form.
- The NOBODY WAKES film shows the sung words on screen as they are sung (open captions).
How we checked
On 20 October 2026 we checked the site's pages (home, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, this statement, Legal Notice, Contact, Data Rights, NOBODY WAKES with its sign-up form, its transcript, the song experience, the account-recovery pages and the unsubscribe page), in English and in Hebrew, with the automated tool axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.0 levels A and AA, at a desktop width and at a phone width. It found two problems, and both were fixed: the song experience did not let phones zoom, and grey text at the end of NOBODY WAKES had too little contrast (3.7:1, now 7:1). A repeat check found no failures. Where the tool could not measure contrast over a gradient background, we measured the colours ourselves.
Automated tools find only part of the possible problems. The site has not yet been audited by an accessibility expert or tested with users of assistive technology.
Known limitations
NOBODY WAKES is an artistic audiovisual presentation. Some moving visual elements are decorative and may not be conveyed equally by every assistive technology. The film shows the sung words on screen as they are sung, in small type a few words at a time; all the words are also in the text transcript. After the film, a 20-second window opens the sign-up form; if it closes, "try again" opens it again, and the form itself has no time limit.
The song experience (/song) and The House (/house) are interactive audiovisual experiences whose visual content has no full text alternative yet. The House was not part of the check above.
